Today, while driving, Sof told Mommy to drive faster. To which Mommy replied "I can't. The policeman says so." "But there aren't any policemen here."
[teachable moment] "We obey even when someone isn't watching us, right? Besides, God is ALWAYS watching us."
After a few silent moments in the back seat.
Sof: "Does Jesus have 2 heads?"
Mom: "Nope. Why?"
Sof: "Is God looking at you, and Jesus is looking at me?"
Mom: "No - God sees all of us all of the time."
Sof: "Oh (pause) Even when He is at our house?"
Mom: "All the time, everywhere."
Sof: "Hmmm - let me see why He loves us..."
