here are some highlights:
Violet is getting bigger and leaving the perfectly peaceful baby behind (in Daddy's eloquent words "I think this one might be a really tough 2 year old" ) - she's spirited alright!!
Daddy took the big girls to the annual MPC Daddy-Daughter Dance where they had a blast!
Saturdays were full of basketball... Coach Dave and his 6-yr old Lynx. Lily had a great time!
A strand bike ride for Lily with PopE - and now we have a Miss Sofia without training wheels too. (evidence photo still to be taken!)

A special highlight of this month was just this past weekend - Sofia is almost at the 5-yr old cutoff for the ear-piercing rite of passage in our home. She was a trooper - and even helped inspire cousin Mercy to overcome her own fears and get hers pierced too!
Then off to the American Girl store for a special (early) birthday tea with the grandmas, aunties, and cousins. I can't believe my Sof is almost 5. Wow. We had a great time.
(unfortunately, Lily was home with a fever and her breathing machine)
and.... in getting ready for Easter - we made some time to decorate our eggs.
we trapped Violet in her chair while the big girls colored away... but she doesn't seem to mind!
